Mystery Block of the Month:

Second Saturdays    9:00 - 12:00    Starting April 12th 

Lois is a new teacher to MPQ and promises to make the Mystery Block of the Month a fun and adventurous time.  You will complete two blocks each month making this a 6 month program.   This class is for beginners as well as experienced quilters.  Join Lois to complete this mystery quilt.

Kwik Krazy Too Jacket

Thursdays, April 10, 17 and May 1,  2:00 – 5:00

You will be making a sweatshirt jacket using a crazy patch quilt pattern.  If you have always wanted to make a lighter weight jacket for these spring days this is the class to take.  Lois has a beautiful jacket on display in the shop!  This class will be different from other classes as you actually end up with a beautiful jacket to WEAR. Join Lois as she helps you create a beautiful article of clothing to add to your wardrobe.

Peeled Back Patchwork:

This stunning 3-D type effect is an enjoyable way to create either a wall hanging or even a full size quilt.   Students will start with a table runner. The class was held last fall and everyone who took the class was amazed at how beautiful the table runner turned out.  We are very excited to have Daisy back to teach this exciting technique for the second time.

Valerie will be teaching McKenna Ryan’s method of fusible pictorial quilting.  “In Full Bloom” is a beautiful wall hanging that includes eight individual sections.  Valerie will be teaching one panel that showcases birds and bird houses.  If you have always been afraid of the tremendous time cutting small pieces now is the time to conquer your fear with a new project to hang up or continue on to make the whole quilt. 

Crocus

Crocus is a small wall hanging created by using the freezer paper piecing technique.  The points come out perfectly and the colors will be spectacular.  It will be the perfect project to create that little sunshine in a kitchen!  Valerie will teach you how to make this pretty little wall hanging in just two sessions.  You can’t miss this class.  It will be fun and exciting!!

 

Amazing Machine Quilting

MPQ has had many requests for a class on how to machine quilt your own quilts and we are very happy to present this class.  Stephanie is a superb teacher and promises to teach you all the techniques to complete your own quilt.  She is a long arm quilter but has taught classes on the beauty of machine quilting on a regular sewing machine.  There is a limit of six students.  Call today to sign up.

Come and join this fun class and create some fun items using the famous Jelly Rolls.  Maybe you have never been introduced to the Jelly Rolls – this is the class to take and you will be amazed at what you can create.  Faye always has a great demo to show you and is an amazing teacher.  You will have a good time while laughing and enjoying others who love this class.

 

Charm Club

Debbie promises that you will have a great time creating pretty and cute little quilting projects.  It may be a table runner or even a small quilt but it all is fun and crafty using the Charm Packs.  Imagination is the only thing you need.  Join the club and let Debbie show the fun of making Charm Pack projects.

Beginning Quilting class taught by Sandy Hill has started but there is still time to sign up.  You learn how to choose fabric colors and make different blocks each month and you will complete enough blocks to make a quilt by the end of four sessions. Maybe you or someone you know would like to learn from the beginning.  It is a great way to share time with one another.  

*    Class and Refund Policies    *

Classes:  Class fees are due at the time of registration. Participants are asked to sign up at least one week prior to the starting date to give the instructor time to prepare. If class minimums are not met, resulting in cancellation, class fees will be refunded in full. Registrations not cancelled by the participant at least 3 days prior to the class are NON-REFUNDABLE. Make-up classes can be arranged at the discretion of the instructor. If you are registered and have paid the class fee, you will receive a 10% discount on required fabrics and supplies the night of the class only for the duration of the class. Discount excludes consignment and sale items as well as purchases that are not required for the class.
Refunds - NO refunds will be given on books, patterns, consignment items or cut fabrics. There will be no exceptions.
Sales - Discounts other than student or instructor discounts will be offered as advertised on sale days only. There will be no "special" preview or retroactive discounts before or after sale days and employees are not allowed to "put items aside" for customers prior to sale days. Please respect the fairness that we try to offer to all our customers, and do not put employees of Mountain Prairie Quilts in the difficult position of having to enforce these policies.
